Our Story

Restore & Renew Delaware Inc. was born from a simple but urgent belief: that our communities deserve to be clean, revitalized, and full of pride. Too many neighborhoods in Delaware face the challenges of litter, neglected spaces, and fading public areas. Instead of waiting for change, we decided to be the change.

Founded in 2025, Restore & Renew Delaware began as a vision to bring neighbors together—students, families, churches, and businesses—to restore what has been overlooked and to revitalize public spaces into places everyone can enjoy. We recognized that a cleanup is more than just removing trash—it’s about giving people back their sense of dignity and belonging. A mural is more than paint on a wall—it’s a story of history, culture, and hope. A tree is more than greenery—it’s a promise to the next generation.

From our very first board meeting, we set out to build an organization that would take action where it matters most—on the ground, side by side with our neighbors. What started as a handful of volunteers has grown into a movement for renewal. Every cleanup, every planting, and every revitalization project is a step toward our larger vision: a Delaware where every neighborhood is vibrant, safe, and full of life.
